Arbella’s Diversity
& Inclusion Council

 

In October 2020, Arbella formed its first Diversity and Inclusion Council made up of individuals from across the company. Arbella’s Diversity and Inclusion Council strives to create a deeper awareness and understanding of the need for a more diverse, supportive and inclusive workplace where individuals are valued for their talents and empowered to reach their full potential. They are focused on working with other Arbella employees to attract and retain talent from a broad spectrum of backgrounds, capabilities, and experiences to reach members of traditionally marginalized communities. The Council works on grassroots initiatives to drive education and awareness through our blog and company newsletter, The Voice, as well as group talks and employee activities. This passionate group helps to explore opportunities to broaden Arbella’s community involvement and support underserved communities and nonprofits that focus on social justice.

Supporting our communities is central to who we are and how we work. We support the causes that matter to our employees with matching gift donations through the Arbella Insurance Foundation. Additionally, we promote volunteer events throughout the year and encourage our team members to participate.
