Arbella Insurance Offers Discount to Massachusetts Residents who Receive a Mass Save® Home Energy Assessment
5 percent discount applies to new or existing Arbella home or dwelling fire policies
QUINCY, Mass., December 9, 2019 – The Arbella Insurance Group (Arbella) is pleased to announce a new partnership with the Sponsors of Mass Save to provide Massachusetts residents with a new way to save money on their Arbella homeowners insurance, while making their home more energy efficient. Arbella will offer new and current customers a five percent discount on their active home or dwelling fire policy if they complete a no-cost in-home energy assessment with one of the Mass Save Sponsors. This partnership took effect on November 1, 2019.

New and current Arbella customers can save on their Arbella home, condo or dwelling fire policies while lowering their energy bills if they complete the in-home energy assessment on their insured property with the Sponsors Mass Save. The assessment must have been completed within the previous two years of the requested discount effective date. The Mass Save discount may be applied to the policy at any time during the policy year.
Mass Save is comprised of local electric and natural gas utilities and energy efficiency service providers in Massachusetts taking strides to maximize energy efficiency efforts statewide. Mass Save is comprised of Berkshire Gas, Blackstone Gas Company, Cape Light Compact, Columbia Gas, Eversource, Liberty Utilities, National Grid and Unitil.
