Live Nation and Arbella encourage safe driving with new Road Crew Designated Driver Program for concertgoers

Boston, Mass., May 15, 2012 –Live Nation, the world’s largest live music company, the Comcast Center and The Arbella Insurance Foundation (“Arbella”) are pleased to announce a new designated driver program, Road Crew, aimed at alleviating drunk driving and rewarding those who make responsible driving decisions during the 2012 summer concert season. The inaugural program provides complimentary non-alcoholic beverages for concertgoers and is designed to help keep both drivers and passengers safe as they travel home from concerts hosted at the Comcast Center in Mansfield, MA.

“Live Nation and Arbella want this summer to be the safest and most enjoyable concert season ever for New Englanders,” said Bruce Montgomery, General Manager for the Comcast Center. “We’re thrilled to roll out this program with Arbella at the Comcast Center to ensure that everyone enjoys themselves responsibly all summer.”

“At Arbella, we’ve made it our mission to encourage safe driving behavior and put an end to reckless and dangerous behavior such as texting while driving and driving while under the influence,” said John Donohue, chairman, president and CEO of the Arbella Insurance Group, and chairman and president of the Arbella Insurance Foundation. “We’re so pleased to be teaming up with Live Nation on the Road Crew program to reward responsible decision makers at the Comcast Center this summer.”

All concertgoers who attend 2012 summer shows at the Comcast Center can sign up for the program by visiting the Arbella tent and identifying themselves as a designated driver. Participants will be given Road Crew lanyards entitling them to free nonalcoholic beverages at concession stands throughout the venue. Live Nation has implemented the incentive at other concert venues throughout the country to promote responsible driving. By bringing the program to the Comcast Center, Arbella and Live Nation hope to encourage safe driving within Massachusetts and surrounding areas.
