- Provided thousands of free rides to and from treatment at any one of 11 Cancer Centers in the Boston area
Partnership with Arbella’s Foundation
The Arbella Insurance Foundation began its support of the Hope Lodge in 2009 as a sponsor of the Lodge’s main annual fundraiser, the Key Gala. The Foundation has been a Platinum sponsor of this event each year since 2009.
The Foundation’s 50 to 25 grant was used to help pay off the Hope Lodge’s original construction costs. The final goal of $300,000 was met as a result of the Foundation’s $50,000 grant and matching donations from the community.
Arbella Insurance Group employees also volunteer at the Hope Lodge on a regular basis. Dinner is delivered and served by Arbella employees, who socialize with and entertain the guests by playing games such as bingo, trivia, and “Minute to Win It.” Arbella employees also attend and support the Key Gala fundraiser.
