Arbella Insurance Group Named Official Auto Insurance Partner of Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Jimmy Fund
QUINCY, Mass., November 17, 2014 – The Arbella Insurance Group has been named the “Official Auto Insurance Partner” of Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Jimmy Fund. This partnership deepens Arbella’s long-standing commitment to supporting pediatric and adult cancer care and research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
During the multi-year commitment, Arbella will contribute a total of $750,000 to support Dana- Farber and the Jimmy Fund. This is in addition to the $100,000 annual commitment the Arbella Insurance Foundation makes as the Presenting Sponsor of the WEEI/NESN Jimmy Fund Radio-Telethon. Since 2008, Arbella’s Foundation has contributed $400,000 to the Radio-Telethon, in partnership with Arbella employees and independent insurance agents. Each year, Arbella employees also hold a Pink Day fundraising event to support Dana-Farber’s breast cancer efforts and research advancements. Since its inception in 2009, Pink Day has raised more than $144,000 through employee gifts and Foundation matching for cancer treatment and research.

Through the new partnership, Arbella will also expand its presence at Jimmy Fund events like the Jimmy Fund Scooper Bowl® and the Boston Marathon® Jimmy Fund Walk.
